Ethoikos - Conservation

The Foundation is active in the fields of environmental protection and development, carrying out initiatives aimed at biodiversity conservation and natural resource management. Within the municipality of Radicondoli, the Foundation developed a proposal for the institution of a Site of Community Importance (SCI), recommended the inclusion of areas of high biological and ecological value within those identified as not suitable to geothermal power plants, and actively endorsed the establishment of a landscape protection policy for the entire municipality.
